Purple Chair

Today I found an awesome little purple velvety chair today while out shopping!  I'm very excited about this find.  I can't wait to use it!  Sadly, my first chair victim may be my cat! That is... if I can get her in it an to stay long enough to photograph...  If not, I m still very pumped about using this chair in the future.  I'll post pics of it soon!

Nursery Paintings

One of my friends and her husband are very excited to welcome their first baby!  She asked if I would paint Winnie the Pooh characters in the nursery for her.  Of course I did just that.  (Hence the "Etc" in AJG Photography Etc.) They came out great I think - I actually impressed myself with it.  They took longer than I expected, but I think it was well worth the effort!  I can't wait to see the room with the baby furniture and whatnot in it.  I think the whole room is going to be absolutely adorable! 

Par-ee

Today's pictures are from Paris, France (Though I have a few of Paris, Texas too buried somewhere).  Now when I go somewhere, as artistic as I want to be with something, you can't help but take pictures of the famous monuments like that of the Eiffel Tower.  Now these aren't really abstract or far fetched, but I think they're just really nice images.  A friend of mine commented on them today, so I thought it might be fun to share these here!

On a side note, I had an absolutely wonderful day with two of my best friends!  One lives here, but the other was in on a short stint from Florida.  So a shout out to all of my besties!  I love you girls!

Green Grapes

I'm hoping to get something posted every day!  *hoping*  This may mean that I will be digging up old photos to share!  These, however, are actually recent!  For as long as I can remember, my grandparents have had a grape vine in their backyard.  Sometimes it's full of grapes, and sometimes it looks like it's about to turn to dust.  On this trip there was an abundance of grapes!  I took advantage of this opportunity!

They Call it Puppy Love

I am an animal lover - especially dogs.  I have two schnauzer mixes (mixed with what we're not sure).  I think animals are definitely part of the family no matter how big or small.

This week I have been house/dog/cat sitting for some family friends.  Naturally, they were my photo subjects during my time there.  Jake is a yellow lab, Gus is a rescue golden retriever, and Cookie is a very talkative 15 year old cat.  They love to play and wrestle and absolutely love attention!

Paw-Paw's Flowers

So I know it's a little cliche to photograph flowers, but I just can't resist a beautiful bloom!  These are some flowers from my grandpa's garden.  I would say he's got quite the green thumb!

Valerie's Quinceanera

Valerie was absolutely beautiful for her Quinceanera!  It was a really great party.  It started off with some wonderful Fajitas complete with a Mariachi band!  Valerie impressed everyone with her dancing by being in two choreographed routines and dancing with her dad and grandfather who had come in from Mexico just for this special occasion. I really enjoyed being a part of Valerie's birthday!

About Time

I am starting to blog!  I'm new at this so bare with me while I play around with it.  I plan on posting random things I photograph or maybe just some things that inspire me too.  We will see how it all unfolds!  Wish me luck!
